|The Curl Activator Consistency|
What I liked about this product is that it made my hair feel softer and the cream was light and didn't seem to build up on my hair. The creme was compatible with other products I used like gels, oils and it didn't get gunky. It didn't sit on my hair for to long either which is great when you have to get out the door in a hurry. It did moisturise my hair without leaving it greasy or sticky.
I used the cream on my hair which had been co-washed and it did work on some of curls near my hairline but the back, middle and sides of my hair still looked frizzy and undefined. I had to use quite a bit on my hair and the fact the container only has 100ml of curl activator wasn't great either. Not only does it come in small 100ml container but in my local beauty retailer it cost a shocking £3.99 ($5.92 USD). What I also noticed when I looked at the back was that it contained; Silicone (Dimethicone), Petrolatum and Parabens (Propylparaben, Methylparaben).
Urban Therapy Twisted Sista Curl Activator offered a lot on the product description but it failed to do the main thing I bought it to do - activate my curls and that's one of the main reason it's getting a rating of 1.5/5.
