These two I bought last summer and I was so excited to try them out because they were from a new product line and before their release there were not too many natural hair products available in the UK. Also they didn't cost and arm and a leg so I was definitely interested to see if these were something I could work with. I tried the Curl Control Defining Pudding first and it did nothing for me - no curl definition, no frizz reduction, no shine nothing just very dry hair. Definitely not something I would even consider buying again. The Tangle Taming Leave-In was bit better surprisingly it offered more definition then the Curl Control Defining Pudding but it failed to make my hair feel moisturised or ease the detangling process which was very disappointing for me.
Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream
I thought I was going to like this product because I saw so many good review on it but it just didn't work of for it. I felt like this made my hair greasy and not moisturised or conditioned at all. I ended getting rid of this product in a product swap.
If you have been reading this blog for some time you know I love, love, love the Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream - it is one of my staple products! However the Taliah Waajid Curl Sealer, I'm not to fond of at all. It sort of a gel that a consistency comparable to Aloe Vera gel and it suppose to give a light hold which sort of defines your curls. Personally I feel the hold is just not that great especially in comparison with that of the Curly Curl Cream. I found it really sticky too and it felt terrible in my hair.
This really just didn't deliver. It wasn't worth the price and I felt like I wasted money. My hair wasn't "Nice and Curly" when I used it. It wasn't great for definition at all. Big disappointment :(
To be honest this product wasn't so bad but it was still a bit of a disappointment. Unlike the other curl creams I've mentioned so far it did actually define me curls. However I just didn't like the feel of the product or the smell and it wasn't too great with frizz either.
When I saw this product line, III Sister of Nature, in the beauty supply store, I bought all the tester products because it just seemed like a product line I would really like. And to be honest all the products in this line are quite good with the exception of this one. This Curling Gelo is supposed to comparable to Kinky-Curly Curling Custard but haven't tried that product as of yet so I can't draw comparison. What I love about this product is the sweet smell however I know others might find a bit sickening. However why this product was so disappointing was because it just is not compatible with any products I own - not even with the products in the same product line as it. So every time I tried to applied it to my hair, it would just create the white dotty things and my hair would feel absolutely terrible so I would have to wash it. Still have the product lying about I have not a clue what to do with because it just doesn't play well with other products.
This product is somewhat like the Taliah Waajid Curl Sealer. I think it just the consistency that just doesn't work for me, maybe it better for those natural with a looser curl pattern. It just doesn't provide sufficient hold, so not a product I would buy again.
